For a curious cat, the ball of yarn is a very busy toy since it’s light, round, rolling, unwrapping, tangling. We draw their enthusiastic yet focused playing gestures. These cats might imagine playing with mice, rabbits and snakes by playing with the ball of yarn.

About the designers:

Takeshi Matsunaga and Chie Takai produce stencil dyeing CHUSEN, a kind of printed dyed cloth. They hold many presentations of their work at several exhibitions.
