Yamagata Iron Casting began about 900 years ago. The teakettles are created by hand made skills.

'Wa-Zuqu' means the unique Japanese cast iron material, which is the only type of iron used for producing this ironware. This iron in the past was used to make Japanese Swords (Katana), Teakettles, and Chisels, until the Edo period.

This teapot is recycled Eco-Craft and industrial waste free. No mass-production!
